YOSEMITE
The first obligatory stop in California: Yosemite National Park. Both Half Dome and El Capitan are insanely famous, and rightly so. I have seen many pictures, but I was not prepared for how gigantic everything is there. Since we only had one full day, we couldn’t do all of the famous hikes. Choosing only one trail in Yosemite is a struggle. We opted for the 4-mile hike, which was a great decision.
