SEQUOIA NATIONAL PARK
After a long drive from Yosemite National Park, we finally arrived in Sequoia at the Sherman Tree Trail. It was late afternoon when we started the trail, and we arrived just in time for the Golden Hour. The combination of sun rays, backlit trees and the red wood of the famous Sequoia Trees provided a very idyllic scene. The most challenging part about this landscape was the sheer height of the trees. With a 28 -200 mm lens, I can’t really get any wide-angle shots, soI tried to get into a very low perspective and shoot with my friends standing next or in front of the trees to give a sense of scale.
